Material and Care

Material: 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell - Interlock.

The TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are produced in Austria (Lenzing AG). The wood blend (mainly Eucalyptus wood) used to produce the fiber comes from certified forests in Austria.

Because our products are made from natural materials, they require less intensive treatment. Here is our laundry advice to ensure the apparel lasts as long as possible. That's also sustainability.

  • Wash at 30 degrees Celsius and with similar colors
  • Do not tumble dry
  • Avoid using fabric softener and bleach
  • Wash inside out

High natural quality, as expected

I love nature's own closet.
I use as much of it as possible.
Usually, wool is my preference, and if not, Lyocell/Tencel is just as good - in another way.
Even Merino is a bit "itchy", whereas Lyocell feels like cotton. I will be interested to see how the shorts handle thigh chafing. The shorts are a bit shorter than regular leisure shirts. They feel good and are lovely to use while running. Compared to running in polyester tights, I feel a bit of extra fabric between my thighs. So far, it does not bother me. But I hope that NBS will offer running tights too.
Why only 4 stars?
The extra fabric between my thighs might cause chafing during longer sweaty sessions? Compared to technical regular fabric, Lyocell is a little thicker and traps a bit more moisture. Also, the waistband is really tight. It almost feel like the waistband is made for a smaller size.

I will recommend NBS to friends, and I will buy more garments. At the same time, I wish for more models like tights and pants for chilly autumn days.
